In this Senior Backend Engineer role, you will work closely with the product team to architect and develop new features for the platform. You'll optimize existing features using modern development techniques to improve speed and reliability, write comprehensive test suites to fortify the codebase, and deploy to production frequently.
You bring 4+ years of experience building backend applications using modern web frameworks (Python + Django, Node.js). You have demonstrated expertise analyzing code performance to identify optimization opportunities, writing unit and integration tests, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Redshift). Fluent English communication is essential.
Plus skills include experience with Apache Airflow or other task workflow systems, data pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, AWS familiarity, and frontend experience with React.
The role is hybrid based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
