You will develop, test, and maintain microservices within a global platform reaching millions of connected devices and users. Working in an agile, DevOps-focused team, you'll own solutions from development through production operation. Your responsibilities include collaborating on legacy system modernization and new feature development across the full technology stack, while learning from and contributing alongside senior engineers.
The role requires 5+ years of backend software engineering in production environments. You must have strong professional experience with Java/Spring Boot and Node.js/Next.js, plus MongoDB and/or MySQL. Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, service development, testing, and integration patterns is essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container technologies, and automated testing practices is required. You should demonstrate a track record of owning software systems over time—operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, modernizing, and continuously improving applications in long-lived production environments. In a senior capacity, you'll collaborate with, mentor, or provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Experience using AI development tools to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality, security, or maintainability is valued. Fluency in English is required.
The position offers a hybrid schedule: one day onsite per week, four days remote.
