Glow is transforming enterprise endpoint security with an agentic-first platform that provides security teams visibility, context, and autonomous remediation across endpoints, applications, and AI tools. The company is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the R&D team and help define the future of endpoint security.
In this role, you will design and operate reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems that power Glow's product. You'll build and own backend services and microservices using Python and Go, working with modern cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes. Your responsibilities include designing database schemas, running migrations, and building analytics layers on ClickHouse. You'll improve system reliability, performance, and observability through participation in design and code reviews, and drive end-to-end delivery from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams, explaining technical tradeoffs and iterating quickly in a dynamic, high-velocity environment. The ideal candidate brings production experience building backend services at scale with common backend languages, practical experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and ideally hands-on experience with microservices architecture and PostgreSQL including schema design, migrations, and performance optimization.
You should embody the Glow Mindset: taking ownership with accountability, collaborating openly, and focusing on delivering meaningful impact. You thrive in fast-moving environments, embrace ambiguity, and enjoy solving hard problems collaboratively. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is required. Full professional fluency in both Hebrew and English (written and verbal) is essential for this Tel Aviv-based role.
