Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 businesses globally, including Brex, Navan, Qantas, and SHEIN. Valued at $11 billion and backed by leading investors including Sequoia, Visa, and Mastercard, the company operates across 27 offices with 2,300+ employees. This pivotal role drives Airwallex's market entry and growth in South Korea, a key expansion market for the APAC region. You will shape the Korea go-to-market strategy from the ground up, working cross-functionally with commercial, operations, product, and regional leadership. Key responsibilities include: sizing and mapping the South Korea market to identify key verticals, competitors, and revenue opportunities across Airwallex's product suite (global accounts, FX, payments, issuing, treasury); leading go-to-market execution including country strategy, launch coordination, and stakeholder accountability; partnering with operations, risk, and compliance teams to design seamless customer onboarding while managing regulatory requirements; adapting and localizing core processes (lead management, pipeline hygiene, pricing, forecasting) from other regions; identifying product-market fit by gathering customer feedback and translating needs into product requirements; running high-quality analysis to answer strategic questions around market sizing, pricing, unit economics, and sales productivity; and owning complex cross-functional projects end-to-end. You bring 3+ years of strategy and/or operations experience, ideally from top-tier consulting or high-growth fintech/financial services companies. You excel at structuring ambiguous problems, running rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, and translating insights into clear recommendations and execution plans. You have strong project and stakeholder management skills, experience working across international teams and time zones, and the ability to balance inputs from multiple functions. Fluency in Korean is required.
