As Senior Associate in Corporate Development, you will support Volta's M&A, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy initiatives. Working directly with founders and executive leadership, you will evaluate opportunities, build financial and strategic cases, and support execution through close. This high-exposure role offers direct visibility into the strategic decisions shaping a fast-scaling AI infrastructure company.
Key responsibilities include: evaluating M&A, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities; building financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases; conducting market, competitor, and industry research; supporting due diligence across financial, commercial, and operational workstreams; preparing materials for executive and board discussions; coordinating with legal, finance, and internal teams through deal execution; tracking the strategic opportunity pipeline; and supporting post-close integration planning.
You bring experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting. You have strong financial modeling and valuation skills, excellent analytical ability to structure ambiguous strategic problems, and comfort working directly with senior leadership on confidential, high-stakes work. You communicate clearly in writing and verbally at executive level, and you are self-directed and detail-oriented, managing multiple workstreams under time pressure.
