Matillion is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join its engineering organization in Hyderabad. The company develops Maia, an AI-powered data automation platform that combines 15 years of data expertise with agentic AI to streamline data engineering workflows. Customers including Cisco, DocuSign, and Slack rely on the platform to accelerate data delivery.
In this role, you will work across product and engineering teams to embed security into the development lifecycle from the design phase forward. You will establish and maintain SecDevOps practices, ensuring that security is a core consideration rather than an afterthought. Your responsibilities will include threat modeling, secure code review, vulnerability assessment, and collaboration with developers to implement secure-by-design principles.
You will operate within Matillion's modern, cloud-based technology stack and contribute to a culture of security awareness across small, agile development teams.
