Salary: USD 255,653 - 270,000 / annual

In this Senior Android Platform Engineer role, you will develop and maintain Android/Android Automotive OS middleware systems spanning front-end to Hardware Abstraction Layer. You'll work across the full stack to design, build, and ship complex software features and products in a fast-paced environment alongside infrastructure, automotive, graphics engineers, and startup veterans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain Android/Android Automotive OS middleware from UI to HAL
- Work across the entire technology stack to create new products and features
- Design efficient solutions to diverse engineering challenges
- Ship production software in collaborative, domain-expert teams
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years software engineering experience at a technology company
- At least 24 months hands-on experience with: C++, Java, Android, mobile memory management, vector databases, multithreading, and distributed object storage architectures
