Boulder Care, a Series C digital clinic for addiction medicine, is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers clinical, operational, and growth insights. You will operate across the entire data pipeline—from ingestion through modeling to reporting—collaborating closely with the Principal Data Engineer and empowering analysts and stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines in BigQuery using dbt, configuring data ingestion with Fivetran, and developing semantic layers in Looker (LookML) for self-service analytics. You'll translate complex business questions from clinical, operations, finance, and growth teams into structured analytical workflows, with particular emphasis on patient acquisition funnel optimization, marketing attribution, and conversion analysis.
Beyond infrastructure, you'll mentor data analysts, establish best practices for code review and testing, and ensure data quality through robust validation and monitoring. You'll maintain comprehensive documentation and governance policies to create a single source of truth across the organization.
The role demands startup agility—you'll thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, proactively identifying data gaps and optimization opportunities while comfortably wearing multiple hats. Boulder Care is recognized by Fortune as one of the Best Workplaces in Healthcare, with a mission to improve lives through evidence-based addiction medicine delivered by a fully virtual, multidisciplinary care team.
