Alamar Biosciences is seeking a Senior Analyst for Quality Control to join the Operations team. The company develops innovative approaches to measure critical protein biomarkers from liquid samples, enabling early disease detection through highly multiplexed assays.
In this role, you will support all product testing activities across the lifecycle—from raw material through final finished goods and stability testing. Key responsibilities include performing analytical and functional testing, conducting data analysis and generating documentation, preparing QC reference standards and assay samples, and reviewing QC test records. You will serve as a trainer and subject matter expert to junior analysts, update and revise QC documents for compliance and efficiency, and monitor testing data to identify opportunities for specification and process improvements.
You will provide technical leadership in investigating QC testing failures and nonconformances, driving process change documentation to address deficiencies, and creating/executing equipment SOPs and validation activities. Collaboration with R&D and technical teams on test method transfer and implementation is essential. The role occasionally involves participating in test method validation and other ad-hoc activities.
This position requires strong understanding and adherence to ISO 13485/GMP requirements, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company. You should be an astute learner with excellent analytical and documentation skills.
