Salary: USD 86,000 - 114,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Analyst for Accounts Payable to join their team in Costa Mesa, California. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient processing of escalated accounts payable transactions, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and optimizing AP processes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Solutioning invoice/PO blockers: Resolve highly difficult invoice/PO match discrepancies by researching root causes, performing reconciliation, and collaborating with internal partners to ensure all departmental tasks are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Process Improvement and Optimization: Continuously evaluate AP processes to provide feedback for efficiency improvements and identify opportunities for automation to support best practices.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and disputes.
• Payment Processing: Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.
• Internal Controls and Compliance: Maintain robust internal controls for the AP function to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.
• Reporting and Analysis: Provide daily overview of stats and KPIs provided by AP leadership to ensure excellence and drive positive results in areas for improvement.
• Team Support: Assist with training AP staff when needed and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a proven track record in solutioning invoice/PO blockers and driving process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (certification a plus)
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable
• Mandatory experience with an ERP system, specifically the Accounts Payable module, including deep understanding of functionalities, configuration, and best practices for AP processing
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset with commitment to continuous improvement
• Experience with AI technologies within an AP environment is a plus (invoice data extraction, validation, process automation)
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
