Snowflake is seeking a Senior AI/ML Architect to join the Solution Engineering organization and serve as a technical expert for the company's AI and ML capabilities. In this role, you will work closely with technical decision makers, data scientists, and customers to design and architect AI solutions built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will be the go-to technical expert positioning Snowflake's AI and ML features to technical stakeholders across customer organizations in the Americas. You'll partner with account teams and customer champions to scope and drive proof-of-concepts to successful outcomes, demonstrating the value of Snowflake's capabilities through executive readouts and business case development. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Snowflake's product and engineering teams to influence AI/ML roadmaps based on customer feedback, publishing technical content (blog posts, conference presentations, notebooks, demos) to scale impact beyond individual efforts, and maintaining and tailoring sales engineering assets including customer presentations, demonstrations, and case studies. You should bring 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments. Deep familiarity with generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning is essential, as is strong knowledge of Python and common ML packages (LangChain, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch) and data engineering tools (dbt, Airflow, Spark). You'll need strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences. Bonus experience includes working knowledge of LLM ecosystem tools, large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), practical Snowflake experience, and knowledge of large-scale database technologies. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field is preferred.
