BlueVine, the largest small business banking platform in the U.S., is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to drive automation and AI adoption across the organization. Reporting directly to R&D leadership, you will identify high-friction, repetitive processes across business functions and transform them into practical AI-powered tools, automations, and workflows that deliver measurable impact at scale.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on enhancing efficiency and productivity across non-technical departments. You will collaborate with stakeholders in go-to-market, operations, and corporate functions to identify opportunities, scope solutions, and build effective tools including AI workflows, internal agents, automation pipelines, Chrome extensions, scripts, and lightweight applications.
Key responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities; designing and building AI-powered workflows and agents; translating business problems into technical solutions with clear success metrics; applying software engineering and SDLC best practices to ensure reliability, security, and scalability; evaluating and selecting appropriate tools (LLM workflows, agents, APIs, scripting); creating reusable components and documentation; and measuring impact through efficiency gains, adoption, and business outcomes.
You bring 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in software engineering, automation engineering, solutions engineering, or similar roles. You have strong coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, with proven experience building automations, integrations, workflow systems, or AI-powered solutions. You're experienced with AI tools and platforms (OpenAI, Gemini, Copilot, LLM workflows, prompt engineering, retrieval workflows). You excel at working with non-technical stakeholders, translating ambiguous business needs into well-scoped, executed solutions. You understand software engineering fundamentals, APIs, browser automation, workflow tooling, and low-code/no-code platforms. Strong communication, high ownership, service orientation, and entrepreneurial mindset are essential.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience building Chrome extensions or browser automation tools, supporting GTM/operations/support/finance functions through technical solutions, working in regulated environments, and a BSc/BA in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
