You will serve as a Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer responsible for setting technical direction for agentic AI on the Aera Platform. This is a role for someone with proven production experience shipping autonomous agents, who understands failure modes beyond demo scenarios, and who has built evaluation frameworks and guardrails to ensure reliability at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Making architectural decisions for agentic AI systems that the broader engineering team builds upon
- Owning accountability for technical choices as they impact real-world applications (e.g., supply chain automation)
- Designing and implementing evaluation and guardrail systems for autonomous agents
- Translating lessons learned from production failures into robust, trustworthy systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver Decision Intelligence innovation
This is an individual contributor role for a senior engineer who can guide technical strategy and mentor others through example, without formal people management responsibilities. You'll work in the Pune office and contribute to a global team solving complex decision automation challenges for market-leading enterprises.
