Phaidra is building AI-powered control systems for industrial automation. The company uses reinforcement learning to enable industrial facilities (factories, power plants, data centers) to automatically learn and improve performance over time, converting raw sensor data into high-value actions without hard-coded rules.
As a Senior AI Controls Solutions Engineer, you will operationalize and scale Phaidra's solutions for enterprise customers, serving as the technical expert working alongside Technical Program Managers and Data Scientists.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Facility Modeling & Configuration: Use Phaidra's platform to create models of customer facilities for AI ingestion. Work closely with the Data Science team to understand facility requirements, configure products accordingly, and commission, tune, and support systems across multiple concurrent projects.
2. Product Requirements & Scaling: Collaborate with the product team to translate customer needs into coherent requirements documentation. Work with other Solutions Engineers to ensure Phaidra's tools scale across thousands of customers, bridging customer specifications and software development needs.
3. Deployment & Support Leadership: Lead deployment and support of multiple solutions in parallel. Resolve onboarding and support tickets by coordinating with stakeholders or providing direct solutions. Possess deep knowledge of Phaidra's pipelines to identify and address issues, manage risks, troubleshoot control systems, and analyze solution performance and viability.
4. Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an internal and customer-facing SME, delivering platinum support to customers, providing technical advice to research projects, and supporting sales and marketing efforts.
The role is 100% remote with a global team spanning USA, Canada, UK, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, and India. Travel up to 25% may be required for customer engagements.
