Salary: USD 200,000 - 285,000 / annual
Decagon is a conversational AI platform enabling enterprises to deploy AI agents that power customer experiences across voice, chat, email, SMS, and other channels. Backed by a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures, the company works with Fortune 500 clients including Avis Budget Group, Block's Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas.
This is a senior individual contributor role focused on owning the successful delivery, adoption, and expansion of AI solutions for Decagon's largest and most complex enterprise customers. You will serve as the primary technical and strategic owner for each account, earning trust with customer C-suite leadership, scoping solutions that address their core business problems, and building working AI agents end-to-end. You combine the executive influence of a top strategy consultant, the instincts of a product builder, and the ownership mentality of a founder.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the technical win on Decagon's largest strategic opportunities, partnering with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Forward-deployed engineers to build AI agents that convert sophisticated buyers into signed customers
- Serve as executive partner to Fortune 500 C-suite, defining and driving their AI transformation roadmap and owning the relationship from initial conversation through production and expansion
- Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade AI agents in production, diving deep into each customer's workflows, pain points, and goals
- Develop frameworks and playbooks that become reusable assets scaling across accounts and feeding into Decagon's product roadmap
- Direct Forward-deployed engineers and partner teams to deliver at scale while remaining accountable for outcomes
- Run tight feedback loops into Product and Engineering, shaping the product based on learnings from demanding deployments
This is not a standardized implementation role, account management role, or a role where you hand off recommendations. You own the outcome end-to-end on the highest-stakes accounts with all of Decagon's cross-functional teams behind you.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience owning ambiguous, high-stakes outcomes and earning trust of senior executives (engagement managers, project leaders, senior managers from top consulting firms, product managers, founders, forward-deployed or solutions roles at high-growth tech companies)
- Builder's instinct: you want to design and build the actual solution, not just diagnose problems or manage others who build
- Strong technical acumen: understand and shape AI agent designs, hold your own in technical conversations with engineers and executives
- Executive presence and track record of becoming trusted advisor to senior decision-makers at large, complex organizations
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape the solution as much as you implement it
- Fluent in Spanish
PLUS (preferred):
- Computer Science, Engineering, or Math degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience
- MBA or equivalent experience at intersection of business strategy and technology
- Experience selling, deploying, or advising on enterprise software or transformation programs at Fortune 500 level
