We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team, reporting to the Corporate Controller. This role is central to our accounting operations and will support the full accounting cycle for a fast-growing, globally distributed organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly accruals and manage the complete month-end close process
- Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly flux analysis and variance reporting
- Record monthly statutory entries for international entities and support consolidation across global operations
- Prepare and process monthly payroll journal entries and US payroll administration
- Liaise with external statutory accounting firms on payroll, reconciliations, and related entries
- Prepare customer invoices and manage collections
- Book partner revenue share entries and prepare related reporting
- Prepare reporting for external parties including banks and customers
- Record GST and sales tax return entries; assist with tax filings in coordination with external tax firm
- Support annual audit process, including preparing PBCs and driving audit readiness
- Support tax return preparation and PBC assembly
- Assist Corporate Controller with NetSuite system administration
- Execute ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned
You are detail-oriented, take ownership of your work, and are passionate about making an impact at a fast-growing company. You are a collaborative team player who builds effective relationships across the organization. You are curious, take initiative, have a bias for action, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred but not required
- Prior audit experience preferred
Nice to Have:
- Experience with FloQast, NetSuite, Drivetrain, and Zenskar
- Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm experience
