Kaseya, a leading provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software backed by Insight Partners, is seeking a Senior Accountant – Revenue Accounting to join its Finance organization. The company serves Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and internal IT organizations globally, managing over 15 million endpoints across more than 20 countries.
In this role, you will own key revenue accounting activities and serve as a subject matter expert in ASC 606 revenue recognition. Your responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing customer contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition, managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, and performing comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations for revenue-related accounts including deferred revenue, contract assets, and accounts receivable. You will prepare and review manual journal entries, conduct detailed revenue analytics and flux analyses to identify trends and investigate variances, and evaluate complex customer contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
You will support SOX compliance by executing internal controls and maintaining audit-ready documentation, and partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations to resolve contract-related accounting matters. A key aspect of this role is identifying and implementing opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to optimize revenue accounting workflows and reduce manual processes. You will take ownership of assigned monthly close deliverables, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support both internal and external audits.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 3–5 years of progressive professional experience in accounting, finance, revenue accounting, or related financial reporting function
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and fundamental revenue accounting concepts
- Proficient or foundational experience applying ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance, including accounting for customer contracts with non-standard terms
- Demonstrated experience managing accounting deliverables within monthly or quarterly financial close cycles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and financial reconciliations
- Proven ability to prepare accurate journal entries, perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain complete financial documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex financial information
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage competing priorities and meet critical financial close deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset suited to fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Interest in leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve accounting processes
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Advanced coursework or professional development in financial accounting, revenue recognition, or financial reporting
- CPA certification or progress toward obtaining CPA licensure
- Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit documentation
- Experience performing balance sheet completeness analyses and flux analyses involving deferred revenue and contract assets
- Prior experience managing revenue-related monthly close activities
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business environments
- Advanced Excel capabilities including Power Query and XLOOKUP
- Experience implementing AI-powered tools, RPA, or other automation technologies
- Familiarity with ERP systems and revenue management platforms
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Sales, and Revenue Operations teams on contractual matters
