Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) Lead to join the Omen team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Omen is an autonomous hover-to-cruise air vehicle (AAV) designed for runway-independent operations from ship decks, beaches, and remote locations. The platform represents a breakthrough in Group 3 autonomous aircraft, with a production contract for 50 systems already secured.
In this role, you will lead systems engineering and test activities for a new aircraft development program operating at high velocity. You will work directly with customers and end-users to evolve the regional Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and develop high-level requirements that inform critical design decisions. You will deploy right-sized, Agile systems engineering governance approaches, balancing process discipline with rapid capability development. You will manage system interfaces and develop integration processes for sovereign mission system equipment and payloads, creating comprehensive test objectives and test plans.
Key responsibilities include coordinating in-country development activities such as component testing, Hardware-In-Loop (HIL/HITL) integration environments, flight testing of surrogate platforms, and ground/flight testing of the Omen system. You will liaise with partner organizations and local authorities to secure operational approvals for airspace, frequency, physical deconfliction, safety, and test range facilities. You will establish and build local in-country development capabilities, plan and execute major test and demonstration events, and serve as Test Director for critical milestones. Safety assessment and hazard mitigation are paramount, with team safety held above all else.
This is a high-ownership role in a lean culture where you directly shape the product and operate at a velocity to deliver new designs within months. You will work with interdisciplinary design teams, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and drive pragmatic solutions to accelerate test outcomes.
