Reliable Robotics is building automated aviation systems to enhance safety in air transportation. As a Security Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will design, implement, and monitor security tools that protect the company's internal infrastructure and support development of safety-critical aviation products. You will partner closely with the Client Platform team and IT to harden Reliable's defenses across multiple dimensions. Key responsibilities include: **Endpoint Security & EDR**: Enforce security configurations across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android endpoints using MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune, Kandji) and modern endpoint detection and response tools. Work directly with users and platform teams to maintain security posture. **Identity & Access Management**: Design and maintain scalable access control schemes, manage SaaS authentication/authorization, and implement zero-trust architecture for single sign-on systems. **Infrastructure Automation**: Leverage infrastructure-as-code to build reproducible, well-documented security solutions. Write automation in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline security operations and log ingestion. **Incident Response & Threat Hunting**: Perform log analysis, participate in threat hunting exercises, and investigate security alerts from EDR systems and external indicators of compromise. **Collaboration**: Build robust, maintainable systems designed for the specific mission at hand, emphasizing team collaboration and system resilience. You should have 5+ years in IT/Infrastructure Security, Security Operations, or Corporate Infrastructure Security roles. Strong fundamentals required in endpoint OS configuration at scale, SSL/PKI/credential management, networking and zero-trust architecture, and modern security tooling (EDR/XDR, SIEM). This role requires U.S. person status due to export control compliance.
