Lovable is a software creation platform launched in November 2024 that enables people with ideas to build software without requiring extensive capital, technical fluency, or time. The platform has already powered over 60 million projects and counts companies like Adidas and Zendesk among its users. Recognized as one of TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies and featured on Forbes AI 50 and CNBC Disruptor 50, Lovable is one of Europe's fastest-growing AI companies with teams across Stockholm (headquarters), London, Boston, New York, and San Francisco.
As Security Engineer, Corporate, you will own the security posture of Lovable's corporate environment, protecting the laptops, identities, SaaS applications, and AI tools used by 250+ employees. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and technical execution.
Key responsibilities include: designing and rolling out scalable security controls (passkeys, device trust, conditional access, DLP, SSPM); maintaining identity infrastructure across Google Workspace, Okta, or Entra with SSO and SCIM; managing endpoint security via MDM platforms like Jamf, Kandji, or Intune; running phishing simulations and security awareness programs that drive behavioral change; partnering with IT and Detection & Response teams to build insider risk and account-takeover detection; and ensuring the secure path is the default, frictionless path for employees.
You'll need 5+ years of corporate, enterprise, or endpoint security experience at fast-growing tech companies. Deep expertise in identity management, MDM, and SaaS security posture management is essential. You must be able to write code in Python, Bash, or Go and treat security policies as software—versioned, tested, and deployed. Strong instincts for phishing, social engineering, and insider risk (including AI-flavored variants) are critical. Experience securing AI tools and agents in the workplace (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, internal copilots) is a bonus. You should be pragmatic about UX, knowing when a control adds real security versus friction.
Lovable's culture emphasizes extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. The team is small, talent-dense, and moving quickly. You'll work with a tech stack including React/TypeScript frontend, Golang/Rust backend, Cloudflare/GCP/AWS cloud, GitHub Actions, Grafana, OTEL, Terraform, and data platforms like Clickhouse, Firestore, Spanner, and BigQuery.
