GoodData.AI is seeking a Security Engineer to join its Security & Compliance team in Prague (with presence also in Brno). You will develop, operate, and automate security operations practices, processes, and tools across the organization. Working with Engineering, Internal IT, and other teams, you'll resolve security events and issues, maintain proactive monitoring of customer data and company sensitive information, and respond to security incidents efficiently.
Key responsibilities include becoming an application security champion with mentorship from the security architect; automating security and compliance processes end-to-end to reduce manual work; contributing to AI governance by creating and enforcing guidelines; evaluating vulnerabilities and distinguishing critical issues; managing security incidents, monitoring, alert tuning, and log analysis; overseeing privileged access management; and managing business continuity and disaster recovery. You'll need to understand the GoodData.AI platform and public cloud infrastructure, working with experienced team members to build this knowledge.
Required qualifications: passion for security, strong communication skills, solid understanding of security technologies (firewalls, IAM, log management, vulnerability scanners), operational experience with AI concepts and securing LLMs/MCP systems, knowledge of Python and n8n (or equivalent automation tools), Linux and shell scripting, OWASP and SSDLC practices, vulnerability remediation and evaluation, security incident management, and cloud/SaaS fundamentals. You should be analytical, able to map technology risks to business exposure, organized, and capable of working independently.
Nice-to-have skills include Agile and DevOps experience, familiarity with AI governance frameworks (ISO 42001, AIUC-1, EU AI Act), DAST/SAST experience, and ability to operate across business and technical levels with various stakeholders.
