Armada is a hyperscaler for edge AI infrastructure, delivering modular AI solutions deployed across 60+ countries for energy, defense, and other sectors. The company has raised nearly $500M from top-tier investors including Founders Fund, Lux, BlackRock, and Microsoft, with strategic partnerships spanning Microsoft, Dell, Palantir, NVIDIA, SpaceX, and Skydio. As a Security Engineer, you will own security engineering across Armada's Azure cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and edge computing platform. This is a hands-on role combining defensive and offensive security work. Key responsibilities include: **Cloud and Infrastructure Security:** Design and implement security architecture across Azure, hybrid, and edge deployments. Manage SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel), EDR/XDR, WAF, email security, and CSPM/CNAPP tooling. Write and tune detection rules, correlation logic, and automated response playbooks. Lead incident response from triage through containment and remediation. **Offensive Security and Assessment:** Perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing across cloud, infrastructure, and application layers. Test web applications and APIs for authentication, authorization, business logic, and OWASP Top 10 issues. Threat model new services and architectures before deployment. Own the vulnerability lifecycle including risk-based prioritization, SLA tracking, and remediation follow-through. Maintain SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, IaC scanning, and container image scanning as automated CI/CD gates. Harden the software supply chain through build provenance and artifact signing. **AI/ML Security:** Help define how to secure AI/ML workloads running at the edge—a novel and strategic area for the company. You will work on infrastructure spanning cloud, hybrid, and edge environments, with particular focus on securing sovereign and edge AI deployments that cannot rely on centralized cloud infrastructure.
