AlertMedia is a fast-growing Risk Intelligence and Response platform that helps organizations protect their people, operations, and brand by detecting emerging threats, assessing impact, and enabling confident response. The company is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to translate security and compliance requirements into practical technical solutions.
In this role, you will partner with Engineering to design, implement, and improve security controls across AlertMedia's software, application architecture, and AWS infrastructure. You'll strengthen security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities while integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement security controls across the platform and AWS infrastructure
- Strengthen security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Support compliance efforts including SOC 2 and ISO audits
- Lead technical portions of enterprise customer security reviews and architecture discussions
- Advise Sales and Legal on customer security requirements
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
You are comfortable balancing cloud security, application security, compliance, and customer-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS, security architecture, compliance frameworks, and the ability to work across multiple teams.
