As a Security Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical contributor responsible for translating security and compliance requirements into practical solutions. You will work across engineering, sales, legal, and customer-facing teams to strengthen AlertMedia's security posture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Engineering to design and implement security controls across AlertMedia's software, application architecture, and AWS infrastructure
- Strengthen security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
- Support compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and ISO audits
- Lead technical portions of enterprise customer security reviews and architecture discussions
- Develop deep knowledge of AlertMedia's software and advise Sales and Legal on customer security requirements
- Balance cloud security, application security, compliance, and customer-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
