The Expert Insights group operates the Expert Transcript Library and 1x1 Call Services, delivering market intelligence through over 220,000 transcripts covering all sectors. The Directed Content Team generates thousands of high-value calls quarterly, identifying and recruiting world-class experts to ensure comprehensive sector coverage. As Sector Lead for Energy & Industrials, you will report to the Director of Research and oversee day-to-day execution of Directed Content projects for EMEA and APAC companies. You will manage a team of Project Managers responsible for generating expert call transcripts, ensuring all work meets firm standards for quality, relevance, and end-user value. Your responsibilities include project setup, expert sourcing guidance, transcript quality assurance, budget oversight, and performance management. You will act as the connective layer between strategic vision and execution, ensuring flawless delivery of sector coverage plans while monitoring emerging market themes and client needs. Key responsibilities: Partner with the Director of Research to develop and maintain a strategic sector roadmap, translating it into structured execution plans aligned with market and client priorities. Manage and mentor Project Managers, setting clear goals, tracking KPIs, and ensuring accountability. Collaborate with Operations Managers to align operational KPIs with coverage strategy. Own expert budget management, allocating resources to maximize content ROI. Oversee structured QA processes ensuring transcripts meet highest standards for accuracy, relevance, structure, and analytical depth. Monitor engagement data with the Director of Research and Content Strategy Analyst to identify coverage gaps and recalibrate pipelines. Identify and shape content supporting revenue-generating efforts such as white papers and webinars. Establish feedback loops with call takers and project teams. Collaborate with North America directed content teams for consistency. Partner with Operations and Product teams to pilot AI-enabled tools improving throughput and efficiency. Maintain deep familiarity with Energy & Industrials sector developments, proactively surfacing new themes and companies. Requirements: 5–7 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or related analytical role within Energy & Industrials. Deep domain expertise in Energy & Industrials with strong grasp of key players, business models, and industry trends. Strong understanding of European and Asian equity markets. Proven people management experience successfully leading, mentoring, and developing teams of project managers or analysts. Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable research projects yielding high-impact insights. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, balancing multiple priorities with agility while maintaining high quality standards. Strong command of project economics, capable of managing budgets, optimizing expert costs, and tracking ROI. Adept at cross-functional collaboration with Directors of Research, Go-to-Market, Product, and Compliance. Intellectually curious, client-oriented, comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Strong understanding of compliance, MNPI, and confidentiality standards.
