Nutanix is seeking an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to own end-to-end quality assurance for our cloud infrastructure platform. You will design and develop comprehensive testing frameworks, automation tools, and test infrastructure that enable rapid, high-quality product releases.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing and building scalable test automation frameworks using Python
- Developing test tools, test cases, and maintaining test beds
- Implementing CI/CD automation pipelines using Jenkins and related tools
- Creating REST API and SDK testing strategies
- Establishing quality metrics and reporting on test/release status
- Collaborating with engineering teams on code reviews and quality standards
- Ensuring product releases meet the highest quality standards
You should bring:
- 8-10 years of relevant QA automation and testing experience
- Expert-level Python programming and scripting skills
- Strong background in test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Jenkins, REST API testing)
- Deep systems knowledge (Linux, process/memory/IO management)
- Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Proven ability to build and maintain enterprise-scale automation infrastructure
- Self-starter mentality with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, requiring minimum 3 days per week in office. You'll be part of Nutanix Cloud Manager team, building next-generation platform for hybrid multi-cloud management.
