As Scientific Engagement Manager, you will bridge deep scientific expertise with commercial strategy to drive new business growth. This role sits at the intersection of science, strategy, and commercial engagement, requiring someone who can lead meaningful scientific discussions with R&D leaders, uncover data and AI opportunities, and help shape solutions that advance target and drug discovery. Key responsibilities include: leading scientific pre-sales engagements with senior stakeholders across BioPharma, Biotech, Diagnostics, CROs/CDMOs, and research institutions; acting as a trusted scientific advisor on challenges spanning target discovery, translational research, biomarker discovery, clinical development, and real-world evidence; translating complex biological questions into scalable data science and AI solution approaches leveraging multi-omics and clinical datasets; partnering with Solution Managers, Technical Owners, Product, and Delivery teams to design technically sound customer solutions; developing scientific proposals, solution architectures, and technical presentations; representing Elucidata through customer whiteboarding sessions, executive briefings, webinars, and demonstrations; and driving end-to-end project execution from pre-sales through delivery with technical oversight and mentoring. Required qualifications: Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field; 8+ years of experience in scientific development, pre-sales, or consulting in BioPharma, TechBio, or CRO environments; deep hands-on understanding of multi-omics data analysis including bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, spatial omics, genomics, and integrative approaches applied to drug discovery; strong expertise in single-cell data analysis and computational workflows; proven experience engaging scientific and business stakeholders; ability to translate complex scientific problems into AI-enabled solutions; experience with scientific consulting, solution design, or technical pre-sales; familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern bioinformatics pipelines; and excellent communication and presentation skills.
