Salary: PLN 9,000 - 9,000 / monthly
ICEYE is seeking a Satellite Operations Specialist to join its Satellite Operations & Maintenance team in Warsaw, Poland. You will be an integral part of ensuring ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. The company operates the world's largest synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation, providing near real-time Earth observation data for defense, intelligence, security, maritime domain awareness, and civil protection applications.
In this role, you will work closely with other operators on the operations console throughout your shift hours, ensuring smooth operation of the satellite constellation and providing crucial support for any unexpected contingencies that arise on the fleet or ground systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining continuous, high-quality monitoring and control of the satellite constellation during all shifts; ensuring safe operations and early detection of anomalies with proper escalation or resolution; enhancing Satellite Operations by developing and refining procedures, tools, and workflow; supporting fleet maintenance activities and satellite in-orbit testing; contributing to mission readiness through simulations and Launch and Early Orbit Operations; and delivering clear shift handovers, incident reporting, and documentation. You will contribute to seamless 24/7 operations and strengthen team-wide situational awareness and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant university degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Space Studies, Applied Physics, or similar, or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail with excellent ability to focus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to react fast
- Strong English language skills (both written and spoken)
- Flexibility in scheduled working hours with ability to work morning, evening, and night shifts on a 24/7 basis
- Interest in Space Industry/Satellite Operations
