ICEYE is seeking a SAR Spacecraft Harness Design Team Lead to build and lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing reliable electrical harnesses for next-generation satellites. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Espoo, Finland, reporting to the Qualification and System Integration Engineering Manager. In this role, you will lead the SAR Spacecraft Harness Design Team, interpreting team OKRs and delegating tasks to achieve domain goals. You'll mentor and support the professional development of team members, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include defining processes and ways of working with stakeholders, hiring new team members, and reporting progress, risks, and key metrics to upper management and program stakeholders. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to establish engineering best practices, improve development processes, and ensure harness solutions support rapid scaling of satellite development and production. Your expertise will be critical in advancing ICEYE's spacecraft harness design capability as the company scales its world-leading SAR satellite constellation. Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; proven track record in team leadership or technical lead roles; and 8+ years of experience designing and developing electrical harnesses for complex systems such as spacecraft, aircraft, automotive, or marine applications. You must have knowledge of manufacturing, integration, testing, and qualification of electrical harnesses, and familiarity with standards including ECSS-Q-ST-20, IPC/WHMA-A-620, SAE ARP1870, and NASA-STD-8739. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with CATIA, NX, or CAPITAL design tools; PLM or PDM systems for configuration control; and aerospace industry experience. The role is subject to applicable security screening, including SUPO where required.
