Parloa is a conversational AI platform that has powered over one billion customer interactions for enterprise brands like Booking.com, Allianz, SAP, and TUI. The company is building the next generation of customer experience through agentic AI.
As an SAP Integration Architect, you will be a founding member of Parloa's SAP Center of Excellence, serving as the field-facing technical expert who designs and deploys integrations between Parloa's conversational AI platform and the SAP ecosystem. This is a hybrid role based in the New York office, blending hands-on architecture and delivery work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect SAP integration and orchestration solutions spanning Parloa's AI platform, cloud and on-premise SAP estates, and adjacent systems
- Drive full project lifecycle delivery (discovery, build, test, go-live) using SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP CI, Event Mesh, API Management, and legacy platforms like SAP PI/PO
- Apply deep expertise in SAP OData/REST APIs, SOAP WebServices, RFCs/BAPIs, ALE/IDocs, with focus on extensibility, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Leverage foundational SAP Business AI knowledge (SAP AI Core, Launchpad, Joule agents) to support AI-powered integration scenarios
- Lead customer discovery workshops and architecture discussions as the trusted SAP integration expert
- Collaborate with Agent Architects and Field Delivery Engineers to provide technical guidance
- Build and codify global SAP delivery practice through reference architectures, accelerators, and playbooks
You bring 5+ years of hands-on SAP integration development and architecture experience, including technical consulting and delivery in live enterprise environments. You have strong experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, foundational ABAP knowledge, and solid Groovy scripting skills. First-hand experience with SAP's AI stack (AI Core, AI Launchpad, Joule) and interoperability standards like MCP is required. You have consulting or advisory experience guiding enterprise customers through solution discovery and implementation. Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and entrepreneurial mindset are essential. You're comfortable traveling and being on-site with customers for key moments like discovery workshops and go-lives.
