Salary: EUR 2,600 - 3,900 / annual
GoCardless is a global bank payment company processing US$130bn+ annually across 30+ countries. The company enables over 100,000 businesses to collect, manage, and send bank payments through Direct Debit, real-time payments, and open banking, with AI-powered solutions to improve payment success and reduce fraud.
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be a key member of a new Salesforce Development team tasked with expediting cross-functional changes across GoCardless's business systems. You will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, owning the integrity and strength of solutions you recommend.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Commercial, Operational, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to validate business requirements and deliver changes using Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Data Cloud platforms
- Enhancing integrations using Salesforce APIs to connect with other organizational systems
- Following Salesforce best practices, maintaining code documentation, and writing/maintaining test classes for all custom development
- Taking ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new applications and code updates
- Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce (DocuSign, Qualtrics, Kernel, marketing tools, etc.)
- Growing knowledge and best practices within the team and wider business
- Assisting with quality assurance development
- Using DevOps and quality tooling to deploy reliable, consistent enhancements
You will work alongside other Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Integration Architects, Business Analysts, and Business Intelligence professionals to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong Sales Cloud and CPQ product knowledge
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, Java, and Lightning components
- Strong knowledge of CPQ or Revenue Cloud, including product catalogue build, pricing strategies, product rules, pricing rules, and approvals automation
- Experience with all core elements of Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration
- Experience with Salesforce architecture and custom coding
- Familiarity with business process analysis and CRM systems
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications
- Experience working with large data sets and bulkification
- Strong soft skills: ability to gather requirements, present solutions to stakeholders, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and Salesforce team members
- Self-starter with experience leading projects or delivery work streams
NICE TO HAVE:
- Salesforce certifications (Certified Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or Developer Certification)
- Experience with Revenue Cloud
- Experience with Data Cloud / Data 360
- Integrated systems development experience
- Active participation in the Salesforce community
- Experience integrating marketing tools with Salesforce
