Salary: USD 75,000 - 85,000 / annual
iCapital is hiring an Internal Wholesale Analyst to join the Alternative Distribution team. This role works with financial advisors throughout the lifecycle of alternative investments, partnering with external wholesalers to prospect, educate, and close new business while deepening engagement with existing clients. The analyst will connect financial advisors with iCapital's full ecosystem, driving platform adoption and revenue growth across the alternatives marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build pipeline and drive revenue by proactively prospecting and activating new financial advisors, converting interest into investment activity
- Lead go-to-market campaigns and spearhead outreach around new product launches, conferences, and thought leadership content to generate qualified engagement
- Serve as a trusted alternatives expert, continuously deepening knowledge of alternative investment products to consult advisors with confidence
- Drive CRM discipline and maintain sharp Salesforce records and advisor profiles to fuel smarter targeting and team performance
- Manage and grow referral revenue, identifying and routing high-potential opportunities to specialized internal teams (Structured Investments, Architect, Client Solutions)
- Act as the main point of contact and problem solver for advisors regarding investment creation and servicing
The role is hybrid, working in the Greenwich office Monday–Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1–2 years of outbound sales experience with ability to build rapport quickly and move prospects through a funnel
- Background in investment or financial services; familiarity with alternatives is a plus
- Strong command of Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Tableau or BI tools is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills, sharp critical thinking, and ability to manage competing priorities
- FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses required
- Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification preferred or must obtain within 2 years of hire
