Anthropic is seeking a Sales Strategy and Operational Excellence partner to build and run the operating system of the go-to-market organization. As the GTM motion scales rapidly, this role sits at the center of the Chief Commercial Officer's operating rhythm, acting as connective tissue between Sales leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Systems. Week-to-week responsibilities include ensuring forecast and pipeline cadences run cleanly, maintaining consistent and trusted data inputs for leadership, and managing weekly forecast calls and monthly business reviews. Quarter-to-quarter, you'll drive target setting and quota deployment mechanics. Annually, you'll program-manage the planning cycle to ensure territories, capacity, compensation, and targets align and land on time. Key responsibilities include owning end-to-end delivery of the CCO operating cadence (weekly forecasts, monthly reviews, QBRs); managing operational execution including calendars, prep timelines, templates, and standards; preparing inputs and running mechanics while keeping sessions focused on decisions; capturing decisions and driving open items to resolution; anchoring reviews in source-of-truth data; developing performance narratives that connect metrics to business reality; building independent forecast views and pressure-testing bottoms-up calls; identifying risks and upside early; establishing unified KPI definitions and operating standards across Sales and Strategy; driving the target-setting process; documenting core processes and driving adoption; and designing scalable processes that can evolve from spreadsheets to systems as the organization grows. The ideal candidate finds genuine satisfaction in making complex organizations run smoothly. You can transform tribal knowledge scattered across spreadsheets and Slack channels into documented standards that people follow. You're comfortable being the person who knows what's due, from whom, and by when, and can hold cross-functional partners accountable without direct authority. You understand that in a rapidly evolving business model, the ability to build durable operating mechanisms is itself a strategic asset. Minimum qualifications include experience in sales operations, sales strategy, revenue operations, or similar functions with direct support of a sales organization's operating cadence; hands-on experience running or materially supporting GTM planning processes (annual planning, target setting, quota allocation, territory design, comp plan rollout); exceptional program management skills to drive cross-functional efforts across teams you don't control; deep understanding of sales organization rhythm (forecasting, commit definitions, pipeline coverage, quota fairness); high structure and detail orientation balanced with flexibility; and clear communication up, down, and across the organization. Preferred qualifications include fluency in Excel/Sheets (modeling, lookups, structured data) and comfort working in analytics/BI tools.
