Alan is a prevention-focused health insurance company integrating insurance, prevention, and care into a single user experience. The company serves 1M+ members across 40K+ partner companies and has reached €800M+ in ARR, with 800+ employees across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada.
You will join the Business Strategy & Operations (BSO) team, reporting to senior leadership and working closely with Sales, Account Management, and Go-to-Market teams across all operating regions. Your mission is to own medium to large-scale projects in business planning and strategy, including:
**Business Strategy:** Partner with senior business leaders (Business leads, Insurance Lead, Marketing lead, CFO, CEO) to define Alan's business plan. Frame business and resource allocation decisions—where to accelerate/slow down by segment or product, how to deploy sales and marketing resources, and how to optimize for short vs. long-term impact on metrics like payback, LTV, and CAC. Propose quarterly plan adjustments and support Board preparation.
**Sales & Account Manager Planning:** Translate the business plan into actionable sales and Account Management objectives. Build and improve infrastructure to track targets through dashboards and models in collaboration with the data team.
**Performance Monitoring & Steering:** Lead or support strategic explorations (new segments, distribution models) to frame decisions. Monitor results and execution closely, gathering learnings and sharing key insights monthly with the community. Work on transversal topics such as competitive analysis, pricing strategy implementation and monitoring.
You will be based in the Paris area or Barcelona, with flexible office arrangements and the ability to work across the company's European and Canadian footprint.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in one of: business strategy, sales strategy & operations, revenue operations, or business finance/strategic finance in a B2B company (preferred); or management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
- Critical thinking and problem-solving: ability to handle ambiguity, bring structure to complex areas, and deliver deep analytical insights
- Strong Excel skills and moderate SQL knowledge; experience with AI tools and building moderate to complex workflows
- Ability to manage workload and short turnarounds with high adaptability
- Business sense: comfort with B2B operational and financial metrics; passion for understanding Sales/Marketing team operational details
- Communication and presence: ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and align multiple stakeholders; strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance; ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication with clear structure
- Fluency in English (French is a strong plus)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Paris area or Barcelona
**Nice to have:**
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau) and Salesforce
- SaaS/Tech sector experience
- Exposure to large sales teams (100+)
