Salary: USD 87,615 - 146,025 / annual

Turnitin seeks a Sales Planning and Reporting Analyst to drive sales team success through data-driven insights, strategic planning, and comprehensive reporting. You will serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining sales plans in partnership with leadership; analyzing sales performance metrics (historical data, market trends, quotas, conversion rates, pipeline data) to identify opportunities and challenges; partnering with sales leaders to set achievable targets and develop accurate forecasts; creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Alteryx; defining and tracking KPIs to evaluate team performance; conducting market research and competitive analysis; managing data integration from CRM systems, databases, and spreadsheets; conducting regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity; providing ad hoc analyses as requested; and identifying process inefficiencies to recommend improvements. You will communicate insights and performance updates to sales leadership through clear reports and presentations, provide regional pricing support, assist with sales incentive and commission administration, and support operational implementation of acquisitions. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and product operations. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field - 5-7+ years proven experience in sales analytics, planning, or related roles - Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, SQL, data visualization tools) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail - Knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred), and sales methodologies - Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data findings clearly - Ability to work with complex data sets to create impactful reports for data-driven decision making - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - High degree of adaptability to changing business needs and priorities
