Allocate is building an operating system for private markets, enabling wealth advisors and their clients to access, transact in, and manage private market investments. The platform serves 350+ advisory firms, 1,500+ GP relationships, and manages $5B+ in assets.
As Sales Operations Manager, you will be the CRO's strategic partner, owning the operational rigor and data infrastructure that keeps the sales organization accountable, forecastable, and efficient. You will manage two distinct sales motions: Capital Formation and Wealth Advisory Solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Pipeline & Forecasting: Define and maintain pipeline stage gates for each sales motion (advisory vs. structured enterprise), track pipeline creation, velocity, and conversion by stage and rep, build rolling forecasts by product/motion, and own forecast accuracy tracking against actuals for the board and CEO.
Activity & Reporting: Report call and meeting volume/quality by rep and team, surface leading-indicator metrics to leadership ahead of pipeline reviews.
Territory & Coverage: Build territory and account coverage reports across GPs, family offices, advisors, and enterprise RIAs. Partner with the CRO on account ownership assignment and overlap resolution. Support Relationship Managers with strategic list pulls and targeting.
Data Hygiene & CRM: Run aging reports on open opportunities and stalled deals, maintain Salesforce data completeness, enforce required fields, deduplicate leads, and ensure ownership accuracy.
Revenue Operating System: Help redefine the RM process end-to-end, including stage definitions and exit criteria. Drive action items from biweekly pipeline reviews. Partner with Finance on revenue recognition and unit economics.
Success means forecast accuracy improves quarter over quarter, CRM data is clean by default, pipeline reviews run on real-time data, account ownership is unambiguous, and RMs spend less time reporting and more time selling.
You bring 5+ years in sales ops or revenue ops, ideally managing multiple distinct sales motions. You have deep Salesforce expertise—not just dashboards but operational leverage. You're comfortable being the source of truth for numbers going to the CEO and board. You're detail-oriented on hygiene but can zoom out to forecasting and process design. Experience in fintech, wealth management, or private markets is a plus.
