Flexport is a global logistics and technology platform that simplifies international commerce, moving over $19B in merchandise across 112 countries annually. The company is expanding its sales organization in the India Subcontinent region and seeking an experienced Sales Manager to build and scale the business in New Delhi.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing Flexport's presence in the region by closing net-new business in air and sea freight. You will manage the complete sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through closing—targeting high-potential accounts in the logistics and supply chain space. Key responsibilities include leading discovery sessions to diagnose customer supply chain challenges, presenting Flexport's tech-enabled solutions through compelling digital and in-person pitches, and owning individual revenue quotas through disciplined strategic execution.
You will also orchestrate smooth customer onboarding by partnering with internal operations teams, serve as a regional brand ambassador, surface strategic growth opportunities for global demand organizations, and facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure service delivery aligns with client needs. The role requires driving continuous improvement of sales and logistics frameworks while building and managing a robust pipeline for profitable volume growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 8 years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience (prospecting to closing)
- Required domain expertise: freight forwarding or logistics background
- Strong sales drive with enthusiasm for cold-calling, discovery conversations, and ambition to become a top 5% sales executive in the country
- Client-service mindset with obsession for client and employee happiness; willingness to challenge status quo
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with strong work ethic and fast learning ability
- Ability to combine strategic vision with ground-floor execution capabilities
