Metaview is an AI company building AI agents that automate and augment recruiting for world-class companies like Brex, Affirm, Deel, ElevenLabs, and Airtable. Founded by alumni from Uber and Palantir, the company has raised over $50M from top-tier investors including Google Ventures and is growing 5x year-over-year.
You will be Metaview's first dedicated Mid-Market Sales Manager in San Francisco, reporting to the VP of Sales. You own revenue, people, and performance for the Mid-Market segment in the San Francisco market. An existing playbook and productive AE teams are already in place, but the system is not yet finished—you'll build on this foundation with a high-agency team that moves fast and owns its pipeline.
In your first three months, you will work with Recruiting to fill open roles, assess each rep's development needs, and show measurable impact on the segment forecast through hands-on deal coaching and stronger operating cadence.
Key responsibilities:
- Own Mid-Market quota, revenue performance, and segment forecast in San Francisco
- Recruit, onboard, lead, coach, and develop quota-carrying Mid-Market Account Executives; partner with Recruiting to fill open roles and create individual development plans from team gap analysis
- Reinforce pipeline generation standards and MEDDPICC deal qualification, adapting the existing playbook to the team's needs
- Run pipeline-generation prep and wrap-ups, weekly pipeline and forecast reviews, and reporting to identify performance gaps
- Work alongside reps on live deals, offering direct coaching to improve deal conversion and consistency; partner with sales enablement and product marketing to translate training and methodology into daily practice
The company operates on four core principles: Velocity (optimize for rate of learning), Hospitality (delight customers, candidates, and colleagues), Transparency (share context openly), and End-to-End (deliver outcomes, not tasks).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Record of leading quota-carrying sales teams to consistent quota performance in a high-velocity motion, with ability to impact from the start
- Ability to identify, attract, and develop strong AE talent in a competitive hiring market; capability to give direct, real-time coaching on deals
- Experience holding a high bar for pipeline generation and MEDDPICC qualification while giving high-agency reps room to own their work
- Builder's approach to improving operating rhythms, reporting, and existing sales playbooks rather than relying on finished systems
- Growing operational playbook and readiness for second-line leadership or expanded-region role within 12 months
