Salary: USD 122,000 - 153,000 / annual

As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as a domain expert and vital resource within the sales organization. You will act as a consultative partner to Account Executives, leading presentations for C-Suite executives and key operational stakeholders. Your deep understanding of financial software will position Addepar's solutions effectively to prospects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the product domain expert throughout the entire sales lifecycle, supporting Account Executives and prospects
- Providing in-depth product knowledge and clearly highlighting Addepar's differentiating advantages over competitors
- Supporting sales efforts with Proof of Concepts (POCs), loading prospective client data, and designing custom demo environments based on specific business requirements
- Coordinating internal product and technical resources for prospect meetings
- Assisting Account Executives with RFPs, RFIs, and Statements of Work (SOW), coordinating with Professional Services, Data, Implementation Project Managers, Support, Finance, and Legal teams
- Contributing to the institutionalization of knowledge by assisting in the creation of sales resources for current and future Account Executives
- Periodically advising existing customers on technical matters, product roadmap navigation, and opportunities for upsells
You will be a creative problem-solver, self-starter, and thoughtful advocate for change. This role requires outstanding communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage complex relationships and sophisticated projects across numerous prospective clients simultaneously.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the Financial Services space, including roles such as FinTech deployment, sales engineering, solutions architecture, product experience, or financial platforms
- Prior experience in similar roles (deployment, product, engineering, and/or client success) at SaaS companies
- Bachelor's Degree
- Deep understanding of investment management
- Knowledge of modern software architecture and database concepts
- Familiarity with Data Lakehouse and API concepts
- Effective oral and written communicator, able to work with all organizational levels, internally and externally
- Highly organized with the ability to manage and track processes across numerous prospective clients simultaneously
- Proven ability to lead sophisticated projects, manage complex relationships, and adhere to timelines
- Flexibility to travel on short notice (20%+)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship
