Salary: USD 170,850 - 219,900 / annual

ServiceNow is seeking a Sales Director for the Higher Education vertical to lead regional sales growth and build a high-performing sales team. This is a leadership role focused on driving new business revenue while managing and developing direct reports. Key Responsibilities: - Build and lead a team of Sales Executives to drive rapid new business growth in the region - Develop regional sales strategy in conjunction with Sales Operations, including competitive analysis and go-to-market planning - Actively participate in territory planning, relationship development, and opportunity management; support field teams in closing deals - Recruit, coach, and mentor team members to drive excellence and foster a culture of collaboration and overachievement - Establish territories and quotas; communicate performance expectations clearly - Manage and report accurate forecasts and pipeline metrics to leadership - Achieve annual sales goals on quarterly and annual basis - Engage at C-level with customers to understand business requirements and build strategic relationships - Collaborate effectively with Solution Consulting, Business Units, Professional Services, Marketing, partners, and ServiceNow executives - Retain and grow existing customer base through regular non-sales engagement activities Requirements: - Extensive track record of new business sales success with strong presentation and negotiation skills, including C-level experience - Proven success recruiting, coaching, and managing high-performing sales teams - Strong strategic thinking with analytical and financial planning capabilities to meet/exceed quotas - Ownership of accurate CRM reporting, including quarterly forecasts and opportunity inspection - Experience driving sales processes and building effective relationships with Sales Operations - Understanding of IT business drivers and the broader business landscape - Ability to build long-term strategic and senior-level relationships - Adaptability and effectiveness in rapidly changing, growing environments - Strong business and financial acumen - Demonstrated ability to build self-motivated, collaborative sales teams that embrace overachievement - Track record of developing and coaching team members; ability to top-grade appropriately - Proven partner relationships and networks; ability to grow revenue through partner ecosystems - Ownership of pipeline generation activities developed by marketing or partners - Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (including AI-powered tools, workflow automation, or AI-driven insights)
