Fluidstack is building civilization-scale compute infrastructure for AI at unprecedented speed and scale. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them across hardware and software teams. The Safety Training Manager will lead the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team's training function, protecting employees and ensuring regulatory compliance across rapidly scaling high-energy infrastructure operations.
In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive safety training programs covering new hire orientation, annual refreshers, specialized certifications, and all required OSHA, equipment-specific, and site-specific programs for a high-automation manufacturing workforce including employees, contractors, and supervisors. You will conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps, high-risk tasks, and emerging hazards across operations, maintenance, engineering, and logistics functions.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate training records and compliance documentation aligned with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, ADOSH requirements, corporate standards, and audit expectations. You will integrate training into operational changes by partnering with operations and engineering teams to support new equipment commissioning, process updates, and automation upgrades. You will measure and improve training effectiveness using observations, audits, quizzes, performance metrics, and incident learnings to strengthen workforce competency and safety culture.
The HSE team's primary mission is to protect employees, safeguard assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain operations through policy, procedure, control, training, and continuous improvement programs. This role will likely manage multiple sites within and outside Arizona, each with unique compliance requirements. You will own safety on gigawatts of high-energy infrastructure built from zero where headcount and sites are scaling faster than institutional knowledge can keep up. The role requires keeping a 24/7 shift workforce running at full intensity without injury by implementing programs to manage fatigue and high-energy exposure risk on the manufacturing floor.
Fluidstack operates with full autonomy, insane urgency, first-principles reasoning, and a focus on building something that matters. The company is hiring people who care deeply about advancing AI infrastructure and human freedom.
