Mollie, a fast-growing European fintech founded in 2004, is seeking an experienced SaaS Account Executive to build and close strategic partnerships across France. You'll be based in Lisbon or Paris with regular travel to the Netherlands office, focusing on embedded payment solutions in verticals including Hotel & Booking, Ticketing, and Food Ordering.
Your core responsibilities include scanning the French market for partnership opportunities, independently managing a pipeline of complex deals, and guiding prospects from initial contact through successful partnership closure. You'll develop business cases for new opportunities, lead C-level relationship building with strategic partners, and help redefine go-to-market strategies for the Technology Partnerships channel in alignment with regional commercial strategy. You'll also represent Mollie at industry events across Europe to strengthen positioning in embedded payments.
You bring 5+ years of proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets and closing high-value, complex deals. You're skilled at managing hybrid pipelines (both large strategic and smaller high-velocity deals), forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership. Your background includes SaaS software sales, cross-functional collaboration in international environments, and demonstrated negotiation expertise. You're analytical, strategic, and excel at building trust-based relationships with potential partners while navigating difficult conversations to mutual benefit.
