Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT) is seeking a SaaS Account Executive to drive new business acquisition for its SaaS offerings. This is a hunter-focused role targeting untapped and underpenetrated markets in the Madrid territory.
You will own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through closing, with emphasis on self-generated pipeline via cold outreach. Key responsibilities include:
• Identify and develop whitespace opportunities to land new accounts and expand market presence
• Execute full sales cycle activities: lead generation through cold and warm outreach, presentations, negotiations, and closing
• Deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through consistent prospecting, networking, and market analysis
• Collaborate with channel partners to maximize territory coverage and co-sell to achieve quotas
• Track all sales activity in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring accurate opportunity management
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets

You will work hybrid from the Madrid office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in-office) with flexibility for remote work and required attendance at offsite meetings and partner events.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a sales or account management hunting role
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, or related field (preferred but not essential)
• Demonstrated success in sales with heavy emphasis on cold calling and outbound strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce (SFDC), and customer engagement platforms
• Exceptional negotiation and customer engagement skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong multitasking and time management; capacity to work under pressure and meet targets
• High professionalism, ethical conduct, and confidentiality
• English and German language skills: near-native/native C1 level (written and verbal)
• Must live and work in Spain
