GitLab is seeking an RPA Engineer with deep UiPath expertise to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level robotic process automation solutions. You will work on automating manual and repetitive processes across GitLab's business operations, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions aligned with company objectives. Key responsibilities include designing and developing RPA solutions using UiPath Studio, Robots, and Orchestrator; ensuring automations are built as reusable components; developing technical documentation including process maps and solution designs; and communicating technical details to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds. You will collaborate with peers on design reviews, partner with the Enterprise Apps team on testing and release planning, and deliver automation projects end-to-end working alongside senior engineers. Production support is a core part of the role—you'll monitor live automations, handle exceptions, perform root-cause analysis, and continuously optimize solutions for efficiency and reliability. You'll stay current with RPA trends, explore new UiPath features, and conduct proof-of-concepts to evaluate improvements. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience); 3–6 years of UiPath experience with strong proficiency across UiPath products; in-depth knowledge of RPA concepts, best practices, design patterns, and frameworks; hands-on experience deploying RPA solutions across enterprise systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, etc.); experience building intelligent automation workflows with UiPath's Agentic AI capabilities; proficiency in Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and SOX environments; strong SQL and Python skills; familiarity with security standards (SAML, OAuth); and experience with integration patterns (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). You should be a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, customer-centric environments with strong interpersonal skills, exceptional time management, and resilience under pressure.
