Promise Robotics is a venture-backed company pioneering Physical AI for homebuilding, combining AI, robotics, and manufacturing to address housing production challenges. The company operates AI-powered factories with robotic systems already in production, fabricating real structures and generating operational data across multiple facilities. We are seeking a Robotics Software Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to developing cutting-edge solutions for core robotic manufacturing technologies. This role is ideal for someone with strong fundamentals in robotics and hands-on project experience who is ready to grow their skills in a production environment. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and optimizing software for robotic systems in active manufacturing environments - Contributing to the design and implementation of control systems, perception algorithms, and automation software - Collaborating with AI researchers, roboticists, and production teams to solve real-world manufacturing challenges - Working with operational data from deployed systems to improve performance and reliability - Participating in the full software development lifecycle from prototyping through production deployment The ideal candidate brings: - Strong fundamentals in robotics software development (C++, Python, or similar) - Hands-on experience with robotics projects, whether academic or professional - Understanding of control systems, kinematics, or manufacturing automation - Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments - Passion for applying AI and robotics to solve real-world problems This is an opportunity to work on physical AI systems that are actively transforming the homebuilding industry, with direct impact on production systems and real operational outcomes.
