NEURA Robotics is seeking a Robotic AI Application Engineer to join their AI Department in Riederich, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying end-to-end NEURA robots and AI applications at customer sites, from initial setup through final acceptance. You'll customize and fine-tune existing AI capabilities and robot behaviors to match customer-specific tasks, environments, and constraints, acting as the primary technical contact during project delivery. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting integration and operational issues on-site or in coordination with engineering teams, collaborating with Robotics Engineers and Product Management to feed field learnings back into the product roadmap, and documenting deployment processes and lessons learned to improve future customer projects. You'll support customer training and handover to ensure long-term success of deployed solutions. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). You should have hands-on experience deploying or integrating robotic or AI-based systems in production or field environments, practical expertise with robotic hardware, sensors, and middleware (ROS/ROS2), and solid programming skills in Python and/or C++. Strong troubleshooting abilities, comfort engaging directly with customers (including travel to customer sites), and excellent communication skills bridging engineering and customer needs are essential. Professional English proficiency is required; German language skills are a plus. NEURA Robotics offers a dynamic work culture with flat hierarchies, flexible hours, and 30 vacation days.
