Tive is building a fully-transparent supply chain visibility platform that reduces shipment delays, minimizes rejected loads, and decreases theft, damage, and spoilage across road, rail, ocean, and air logistics. As an RF/Module Engineer, you will own the hardware design of connectivity modules from concept through production and ongoing support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own module design, selection, and second-sourcing decisions across product platforms
- Design and tune antennas for challenging RF environments to ensure reliable connectivity
- Drive carrier certification and network approvals globally to ensure compliance and market readiness
- Debug field connectivity issues and optimize performance in real-world deployments
- Optimize module power consumption to meet battery life targets for edge devices
- Partner cross-functionally with firmware, hardware, and product teams to ensure performance and quality standards
- Work directly with vendors and contract manufacturers on test coverage, production yield, and manufacturing optimization
You will be responsible for ensuring that Tive's connectivity modules deliver reliable, efficient performance in the demanding environments where shipments travel globally. This is a hands-on role that bridges hardware design, RF engineering, and production operations.
