Abacum is a Series B FP&A platform that helps finance teams plan, report, and forecast. Founded in 2020 by two former CFOs, the company has raised over $100M and is trusted by industry leaders including Dish Networks, Strava, BetterUp, and Kajabi. With 100+ employees across 30+ nationalities, Abacum operates globally with offices in New York, Toronto, and Barcelona. You will be Abacum's first in-house Salesforce Administrator, owning the platform that the entire go-to-market organization depends on daily. Reporting to the Revenue Operations Lead, you'll work directly with GTM leaders to transform a steady stream of requests into clean, scalable systems. This role offers immediate impact: you'll own real problems from your first week with full accountability for how systems are built and outcomes are delivered. As the company automates routine admin tasks with AI (e.g., Claude connected to Salesforce for automated record cleanup), your scope will expand into new workflows such as lead routing and data enrichment. You'll shape processes for a fast-moving global organization and partner directly with S&O and GTM leadership on visible, company-wide work. Success means sales reps get fast, reliable answers; Salesforce stays clean and well-documented; and most changes ship in-house safely without external consultants. Your responsibilities break down as follows: **Run the front door (~50% of time initially, decreasing as automation matures):** Own the Salesforce support queue by triaging, resolving, and closing requests from Sales, Marketing, Partners, and Customer Success. Handle data hygiene and governance across GTM systems, including record cleanup, field standards, and regular audits to keep pipeline, ownership, and attribution data accurate. Manage users, profiles, permission sets, licenses, and access across Salesforce and connected GTM tools (Gong, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Nooks, Default). Maintain picklists, fields, page layouts, and reports. **Build and maintain the platform (~35%):** Build and maintain Flows (screen and record-triggered), validation rules, and approval logic. Own the permission model including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy. Monitor flow errors, API usage, and integration health with systems like HubSpot, Default, Gong, Clay, Vitally, and Introw; fix or escalate issues as needed. Run deployments through sandbox with documented change control. **Make it self-serving (~15%):** Document every flow, rule, and integration to prevent knowledge silos. Reduce request volume by creating self-serve options, better defaults, and smarter guardrails. Use AI tools to automate hygiene checks and repetitive admin work. Scope larger projects and manage external Salesforce developers when work exceeds in-house capacity. **Requirements:** Must have: - 3 to 5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration in a B2B SaaS or high-volume sales environment - Experience as the sole or primary admin of an org (approximately 50 to 300 users), not one of many admins at a large enterprise - Salesforce Certified Administrator certification, or willingness to obtain it within your first 6 months - Proficiency building in Flow Builder: shipped and maintained record-triggered and screen flows in production, able to walk through end-to-end - Confident managing profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy; able to troubleshoot access issues - Ability to build reports and dashboards independently - Understanding of the B2B SaaS funnel: leads, opportunity stages, ARR, renewals - AI literacy: daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and proactive identification of automation opportunities for repetitive tasks - Fluent English; Spanish is a plus - Builder mindset: fix root causes rather than just tickets; when issues recur, fix the system creating them; willingness to push back, ask why, and route requests properly Nice to have: - HubSpot experience, especially HubSpot-Salesforce sync - Platform App Builder or Advanced Administrator certification - Experience with other GTM tools: Gong, Apollo, Default, Clay, Sales Navigator - Exposure to forecast categories, attribution, and lead routing - Basic SQL
