Halter is transforming grazing and livestock management through innovative technology that enables farmers and graziers to run more productive and sustainable operations. The company is backed by Tier 1 investors including Founders Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, BOND, DCVC, and others.
You will be the Revenue Operations presence for New Zealand, embedded with the Sales team and based in the Auckland HQ. You'll sit within Revenue Operations & Enablement (part of GTM Operations) and drive performance across the NZ GTM motion. This is not a reporting or process maintenance role—you own pipeline integrity across the NZ funnel, drive conversion and velocity, run the deal desk motion locally, and ensure enablement sticks with the field sales team. Your focus is the sales cycle; post-sale operations sit with the Customer Rev Ops Manager.
You'll use AI as a core tool—not experimentally, but actively integrated into how you work to move faster than the role would otherwise allow.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Running pipeline reviews with Regional Sales Managers to ensure deals are real, stages are accurate, and blockers surface early
- Diagnosing conversion drops between stages and driving fixes end-to-end
- Turning around deal desk requests with customer context, commercial logic, and clear recommendations
- Rolling out new processes to the NZ sales team with training, adoption chasing, and proof of landing
- Building reporting that tells leadership what's happening proactively
- Landing global process changes in NZ and documenting local innovations for AU and US teams
- Flagging patterns in handovers or support escalations to the Customer Rev Ops Manager
- Sitting with Territory Managers to understand real-world workflow challenges
Halter values office-first culture with high-trust flexibility. The company offers unlimited paid annual leave, 6 months fully paid parental leave for primary caregivers, $1,000 annual self-development budget, wellness leave, health insurance partnership, and an employee stock ownership plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High bar for data quality; you dig into unexplained numbers without being asked
- Equally comfortable in spreadsheets and in rooms with sales teams; know when each is the right tool
- Think in systems, not tasks; fix processes that cause problems, not just symptoms
- Take ownership end-to-end: flag, diagnose, propose, execute, measure
- Make change stick in mature markets; understand adoption is the hard part
- Communicate credibly at every level from Territory Managers to VP of Sales
- Hold yourself and others to the plan with conviction to push back on misalignment
- Instinct for where revenue is leaking before data formally confirms it
- Distinguish between process problems and people problems; know how to fix both
- Drive adoption, not announcements; measure whether processes landed
- Find incremental gains in mature markets; improve what already works
- Build things that travel; design with other markets in mind
- Energized by pace and unfinished playbooks
- See AI as a core work tool, already built into how you operate
- Operate effectively without direct ownership through insight and relationships
BONUS EXPERIENCE:
- Driven process change across field sales teams
- Worked in ag-tech, SaaS, or hardware-led businesses
- Operated in mature markets where growth came from tightening execution
- Supported deal desk or commercial approvals motions
