Halter is a venture-backed agtech company transforming grazing management through innovative hardware and software solutions. The company is expanding into South America, launching operations in Argentina and Uruguay—two of the world's most significant cattle markets.
As the first Revenue Operations Manager for the region, you will build the operational and commercial foundations for Halter's market entry from the ground up. You'll work with no existing customers, pipeline, or local processes, making this a high-impact role shaping how the entire region scales.
Your responsibilities will evolve in two phases:
**Launch Phase:** Define how deals move from initial conversation to installed customer in Argentina and Uruguay. Set up Salesforce infrastructure for the region, including territories, currency handling, quoting, and reporting. Collaborate with the Global Pricing & Packaging Manager to establish local pricing and discount frameworks accounting for currency and inflation dynamics. Train and onboard the first sales hires on tools and processes. Coordinate with Launch and Customer Revenue Operations teams to ensure readiness before the first customer signs. Communicate market-specific insights and process adaptations back to headquarters in New Zealand.
**Operational Phase:** Run weekly pipeline reviews and forecast calls with sales leadership. Investigate conversion drops between funnel stages and implement fixes. Build proactive reports that give leadership clear market visibility. Support sales team adoption of new tools and features. Document processes and playbooks for future market launches. Feed structured commercial intelligence to HQ on what's working, what isn't, and where the current playbook needs adjustment.
You'll report into the Revenue Operations & Enablement team based in Auckland, with significant autonomy to make decisions independently given the time zone distance. You'll become a trusted partner to senior leaders across sales, customer success, finance, supply chain, and other business functions.
The role requires fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate clearly from Territory Managers on farms to the Vice President of Sales. You'll work in an office-first culture based in Buenos Aires, with flexibility when needed.
**Requirements:**
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Experience building revenue operations from scratch or launching new markets, regions, or business units at scaling companies
- Strong data quality discipline and process-oriented mindset
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions from first principles
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience with Salesforce configuration and revenue operations tooling
- Background in sales operations, business operations, consulting, or customer-facing roles at startups or scaling companies
- Bonus: prior experience in agriculture, agtech, SaaS, or hardware-led businesses with complex sales motions; multi-market or remote-from-headquarters setups; pricing or deal approvals in high-inflation or multi-currency environments
- Comfort with AI tools and proactive exploration of new applications
